My Master Plan To Free Myself From Credit Card Debts

Most of us these days are so dependent on our credit cards that soon we end up in financial dilemma. I never understood why my grandparents were both so pessimistic when it comes to using credit cards. They use to tell me that why would someone allow themselves to purchase something out of the pocket of another person if they have the cash themselves and pay an interest. It just does not make any sense. Well, i never actually listened to them, especially when I got my first credit card. I was just so thrilled to have one that the first thing that I did was to run down the mall and purchase things that I don't actually need.

Money is just so hard to come by these days that everyone has to be very creative in garnering all their fundraising ideas to have some extra cash in their pocket. Credit card companies have done their research well and understand that most of us has this problem. So what they did is to provide us a lifeline financially that is actually when you come to think of it is sometimes more than we actually make in a month. So we end up in a cycle of debt, especially that most of us uses our credit card without due regard for anything at all.

One thing that I have realized is that my credit card debt is much bigger than my savings account and it just hit me. I really need to save more and clearing my credit card debt is something that must initially be done first. So my plan for the next six months is to cut some of my unnecessary expenses like on beer, weekend poker nights, find ways to cut down on gas expenses, and buying things that I don't really need. Then I made a list of the amount of debt on all of my credit cards and decide on an amount that I can afford to pay every time the bill arrives, this is of course with due regard to the minimum amount. So paying more than the minimum by about $200 more is something that I am certainly considering.

So that I will not overspend all the time I will set a budget for everything and make sure that I place something on my savings account every month when payday arrives. Well yeah plus the fact I want to raise funds for another vacation LOL.

  1. I admire your enthusiasm in freeing yourself from debt and maybe I just might consider it after my <a href="http://pacificadventuretour.com>dating tour</a> in the Philippines.
